What is Indian Head Massage?
Also known as Champissage, I massage the head, neck and face are, with the purpose of manipulating energy channels. My goal is to clear blocks in these energy channels that cause a build-up of negative energy that are purported to cause ailments. When the energy does not flow properly, negative energy builds up, causing common ailments, including stress, pains and aches, and baldness or hair loss.
Indian Head Massage is based on an ancient Ayurvedic healing system practised in India for over 1 000 years. It is a wonderfully relaxing therapy that involves massage of the soft tissues in the upper back shoulders arms neck scalp and face. I use a range of different massage pressures and rhythms to stimulate these areas and help balance natural energies and clear any localised areas of negativity.
Indian Head Massage is not just physical; it works on an emotional level also calming the spirit promoting relaxation and relieving stress. A typical massage can last up to 45 minutes.

What happens during a Indian Head Massage session?
I perform the treatment with you seated and fully clothed. It includes work on the upper back, shoulders, arms, neck, face and scalp. The use of oil is optional when massaging the head and scalp. Indian Head Massage alleviates tension headaches, eyestrain, aching shoulders and stiff necks, leaving the you feeling calm and relaxed, yet with improved concentration and mentally alert. It’s the perfect solution in fact, to modern day stress!
